About
Mission and operating principles
InQuantWeTrust is a quantitative analysis and methods knowledge hub for readers who want practical, evidence-grounded research guidance.
We focus on hypothesis design, backtesting discipline, risk review, portfolio analysis, and reproducible research habits. The goal is clear guidance with enough context to help readers understand assumptions and limitations in practice.
The scope is intentionally practical so the guidance stays useful and respectful: evidence before opinion, limitations next to claims, and practical trade-offs wherever decisions need to be made.
Our mission is to build the most useful collection of knowledge, code, research, and community resources for quantitative analysis. From research methods and backtesting to portfolio analytics and risk review, every piece of content should help members understand assumptions, trade-offs, and failure modes.
Our ambition is for InQuantWeTrust to become a trusted home for quantitative-analysis learners and practitioners: a place to learn, build, share, and advance together.
Quantitative methods, with practical depth.
What this project is optimizing for
The platform is optimized for analytical accuracy, operational clarity, and continuity across the full research lifecycle: question design, evidence collection, validation, reporting, and review readiness. Every article is expected to be readable end to end by a serious practitioner without requiring hidden assumptions.
- One consistent standard: evidence, assumptions, and limitations together.
- Clear defaults before optional complexity.
- Documentation that supports both beginners and maintainers.
- Examples that can be audited, discussed, and improved by the community.
Content quality standards
Published material is expected to include explicit assumptions, setup constraints, and operational caveats. Content should not pretend to be complete if it is exploratory. It should be explicit about what is stable, what is draft, and what still needs validation against production constraints.
- State prerequisites first (sample, metric, assumptions, and review boundary).
- Prefer reproducible evidence and concrete checklists over vague commentary.
- Surface failure modes and review paths, not just best-case examples.
- Keep educational boundaries clear: no trading guarantees and no financial advice.
Community role and recognition
The project recognizes maintainers, contributors, and donors because long-term reliability depends on ongoing work. Badge and emblem systems are meant to acknowledge sustained value: documentation quality, review rigor, editorial maintenance, and direct mission support.
Roadmap direction
This release runs on PostgreSQL-backed persistence for profiles, likes, comments, reports, and moderation. The next phase focuses on payment lifecycle reliability, entitlement synchronization, and deeper moderation tooling while keeping the mission unchanged: build a reliable, focused quantitative analysis knowledge hub.
Official statement
InQuantWeTrust maintains quantitative methods guidance so the community can move from questions to reviewable research with less noise and higher analytical confidence.
